I’m really into roasted cauliflower at the moment and can’t get enough of it. It’s just divine☺️ When the ovens on I find it’s any excuse to pop in some cauliflower and roast it up as it’s so easy to do and so tasty! If you have not experienced roasted cauliflower yet, please do!! you will wonder why you have not before!! Its great as a side dish, and you can serve it whole as well if you prefer, and makes a nice centre piece, and great for a vegan or vegetarian dish too. there is so many alternative ways to serve it and mentioned some below for you too.
Roasted Cauliflower with Cumin
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 whole cauliflower chopped into large chunks
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- It’s great just naked, or spice it up with some chilli or garlic or curry powder or paste or like I’ve done here and add some cumin seeds or ground cumin.Simple as that. For a whole cauliflower head just cut this into chunks and add two teaspoons of cumin powder or one teaspoon of seeds and a dash of sunflower oil and run it over the cauliflower and roast at 180’c (fan assisted) or 200′ non fan for approximately 20 minutes. As simple as that.Be creative with your spices and see what you like.
Here are some items that you might find helpful. I just love these pyrex glass roasting trays. These can be used for so many things, and i use them for practically anything that i would put on a baking tray. They cook things beautifully and clean so much better than any baking tray and have a much longer shelf life!! I think they are just brilliant and clean beautifully in the dishwasher too….
